30 Day Picture Challenge- Day 19

{Day 19- 30 Day Picture Challenge}

A picture and a letter. I don't know exactly what this means but I saw another blogger (can't remember which one) who wrote a letter to their younger self, I loved that idea so here it is-

Dear 15 year old me,
You are going to meet a boy soon, ignore him, no matter how great you think he is; he isn’t. You will spend the next 6 years trying to escape his abusive hand. Date one of the boys you already know, there are some good ones.
Always,
Me
P.S. Quit thinking you are fat, one day you will dream of being the size you are now.

Aw Sarah, sorry to hear you were in an abusive relationship. I believe God throw's us curve balls so we are later happy in our marriages b/c we know exactly what to expect of a partner.

You were so sweet and innocent, adorable too!

Have a great weekend!

Hind sight is always better. It brings me joy to think you are no longer suffering abuse. God will use your brokenness to help others.

Following you on GFC from Saturday Stalker.

This is a wonderful idea. I had an author friend that would tell me that I needed to start trying to write, I told him that I didn't even know where to begin, he would always tell me to write a letter to myself. I wish he was still with us. Where he could critique me. thank you for such a wonderful post. I am here following you from the Fab friends thursday bloghop would love to have you follow me back, I'll be back soon, thank you

Oh man, what I wish I could go back and tell my younger self! That is a long time to be in an abusive realtionship, I was in my bad relationship for only a year, but what I 'learned' from that will last a life time. And I think you are beautiful, we all come in different sizes, Im a small girl but I have always had self esteem issues. Not so much anymore. I like the picture, very cute!
