Oreo Cupcake Surprise

{Oreo Surprise Cupcakes}
I thought I would try to put some different fillings inside of a chocolate cupcake and see what happens, so first came an Oreo cookie and it was delicious!

  • Prepare your cupcake pan with liners and preheat your oven according to your recipe
  • Fill your liner about a 1/3 of the way
  • Put a whole Oreo cookie on top of the batter in the liner

  • Fill the liner according to the directions on your cake mix

  • Follow the baking directions of your choice cake mix, cool and frost as you would normally.

I have a recipe for cookies and cream frosting if you click here, I bet it would be a perfect addition to these cupcakes!

I know this is crazy and maybe a little gross, but I loooove stale oreos, so I bet this is kind of the same thing--the oreos must get really soft being in the cupcake. YUM!
