Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff

{Creamy Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff}
This is an old standby in our home, we love it! It is super easy and a good way to change up the old crock pot recipes!

{Ingredients}
3-4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed and cleaned
8oz of cream cheese
1 packet of savory garlic and herb soup mix
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of milk
1/3 cup of butter

{Directions}
  • Place the chicken breasts, butter and soup mix in the crock pot on low heat for 5 hours (it will be ok, I promise!)

  • After 5 hours pull the chicken out of the crock pot and cut it into small cubes or shred it, whatever you prefer
  • Place the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup and milk in the crock pot and stir slowly until all of the ingredients combine

  • Cook 30 more minutes on low heat in crock pot
  • Pour over egg noodles or rice and enjoy!

Wow I had forgotten about crock pots, I used to use mine when I lived in the states all the time. Don't have them over here, just another one of the many things i MISS :)

This looks like a very tasty version! I made some the other day but it was more mushroomy for my husband. I think I would like this version better.
