Fried Ravioli

{Meatless Monday- Fried Ravioli}
These are simple and delicious!

{Ingredients}
Ravioli, your choice of filling, I use cheese and garlic
Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Bowl of milk or buttermilk
Olive oil for frying
Sauce of your choice for dipping (spaghetti sauce, Alfredo, pizza sauce, etc)

 {Directions}
  • Place milk and bread crumbs each in separate bowls

  • Put the ravioli one at a time into the milk and coat
  • Move the ravioli to the bread crumbs and cover, making sure it is well coated

  • Over medium/high heat put a thin layer of olive oil (just coating the bottom of the pan) and allow it to get hot
  • Place the ravioli into the hot oil and allow cooking until lightly browned, flipping it over using tongs and allowing to brown on the other side

  • Remove the ravioli from the oil and place on a plate covered with a few paper towels to drain excess oil
  • Serve with a bowl of the sauce of your choice
